MNF Preview – Packers vs. Ravens

Aaron Rodgers (aka: K.J.'s Fantasy Football Sugar Daddy)

This week’s Monday Night Football match-up takes us to Green Bay as the Packers take on the Baltimore Ravens on the frozen tundra at Lambeau Field. Game time temperatures are expected to be near 25 degrees (Fahrenheit…we don’t do that Celsius stuff here ever since the great ‘Move to the Metric System Frenzy’ that hit in the 1990’s fizzled out).

Look out 2007 Packers LT Mark Tauscher!

I know there is no chance for snow in Green Bay for tonight’s game but is it just me or has the allure of the Frozen Tundra really worn off now that #4 isn’t there to sling snowballs at his lineman’s heads in between plays? Favre playing most of his December and January schedule in a dome controlled environment feels like some sort of crime. Let’s not kid ourselves here, his replacement Aaron Rodgers is a California boy. The last time he had a positive outlook on snow and cold weather was when him and his boys were stoked to go shred up Bear Mountain on a weekend snowboarding trip. I’m just saying…moving on.

The Pack enter the game on a 3 game winning streak and coming off of an 11 day break since their joke of a game which made my family Thanksgiving even more boring last outing against the Motor City Kitties on Thanksgiving. A-Rog has been fantastic since his offensive line figured out that they are actually supposed to get in the way of the opposing defensive line on a regular basis.

The Green Bay defense has been stellar during the 3 game stretch and any defense which possesses a man named Ray Lewis is usually pretty stout. Lots of defense in this game. I like A-Rog and the Pack D to scratch out the win in a close game.

Betting Line: Packers +3 1/2

Over/Under: 43

K.J.’s Predictions: Packers will win but won’t cover the spread, take the Ravens and the points and take the under.
