Lets make the 3 point contest better!

Channing Frye was just named as a competitor in the NBA All Star 3 point shooting competition. Come on NBA really? He is my suggestion, lets get all the multiple winners together and let them compete in a shooting contest. How about this for a shooting contest, Larry Bird, Mark Price, Steve Kerr(he didn’t win multiple times but it’s Steve Kerr sue me), Craig Hodges, Jeff Hornacek, Jason Kapono, and Peja Stojakovic. Just for fun let’s throw in Chuck Person, Dan Majerle, and if we could Pete Maravich.

How about that for a shooting contest? Just for fun lets back two of the racks up a couple of feet to give these guys an actual challenge. Enough already with all these back ups competing in the skills competitions. It just makes the events suck. Half the time you don’t know who these guys are, not to mention this is the most time they have been on television all season.

I really don’t know who would win this contest they might shoot all night long. I do know this Larry would shoot until he couldn’t walk the next day if it meant he was going to win the competition. But watching all these old guys shoot would be way more fun than watching some guys we have never heard of miss shots all night.
